Just some guesses but... jdvmi - might you have both id3v1 and id3v2 tags in your mp3 files? mp3tag will tell you if you have both. If you have different information in the two sets of tags, its quite possible slimserver has got confused. wesg - you're using FLAC so that won't be your problem.

Have you seen the Router Status page 'here' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?RouterStatus) ? Bear in mind that this page was put together about 10 versions of firmware ago, and a lot of the problems have been ironed out since, but it may give you an idea of which routers have worked

For me, parental controls are needed. What with so many tracks containing swearing I'd like a better way of managing what can get played at certain times. As a work around I've tagged albums and tracks I know are dodgy with NotForKids so if I want to play random music I just exclude this genre.
