iTunes shouldn't be running... or I should say it doesn't need to be running. SqueezeCenter doesn't do anything with it EXCEPT read the library xml files. Try it again where SoftSqueeze is 'looking at' SqueezeCenter, as you would if you had an SB3/Duet or Transporter. -- Eric Seaberg Eric

After upgrading to 7.01, it was failing to scan on a clear and rescan, seeming to hang up on the first file in the music folder. This was resolved when I downgraded to 7.0 official release. -- bephillips More than 38,243 songs on 3028 albums by 2130 artists. Mostly flac, some mp3 and aac.

Whenever you have network drives there can be hassles if you're running as a service due to the security model. I think the decision was that most users would be happy with it as an app and it would cut down on support calls. -- radish

Anyone any idea why SC suddenly won't work any longer? I did change anything but SC Duet couldn't find my Squeezecenter any longer. NAS is okay I can access the file in my network. I reinstalled SSODS (slimserver on diskstation) and reinstalled SC, but the problem isn't solved at all. Loading
