Used to have 2171 and it was working pretty good without a freeze. After the upgrade to 2178 things are back to square one with frequent freezes. Well, I guess that should at least silence the talk about the routers being the problem once and forever. Better luck, next upgrade. :-(( -- sapnho

Is there a way to select a preferred AP list from within the SB? I now have a strange problem with one of my two wireless SB2s: About once or twice a day, my SB2 in the office attaches to the WiFi access point in the living room (60 feet away) instead of the AP in the Office (10 feet away).

Depending on the AP, it may well be possible to restrict access to it to certain MAC addresses. That could be inconvenient, for instance if a friend brought over a laptop and wanted to connect. But you can use this method to prevent the SB from connecting to this AP. -- danco

Whenever you have network drives there can be hassles if you're running as a service due to the security model. I think the decision was that most users would be happy with it as an app and it would cut down on support calls. -- radish

Anyone any idea why SC suddenly won't work any longer? I did change anything but SC Duet couldn't find my Squeezecenter any longer. NAS is okay I can access the file in my network. I reinstalled SSODS (slimserver on diskstation) and reinstalled SC, but the problem isn't solved at all. Loading
