as far as I know there is no way to control SqueezeCenter with iTunes. You can stream to iTunes as you are doing, and you can have SC update its info from your iTunes library, but you can't control it via iTunes. iTunes doesn't speak SC's protocols. -- aubuti

Another workaround that worked for me was to go into your Mac's system preferences to the Squeezebox pane. There's a drop-down menu where you can select startup at login instead of startup on boot (IIRC). No further problems for me, but I'm the only account on my Mac. Good luck. Cordially,

Why bother with Coax - the new Homeplug AV standard theoretically delivers 200Mbps over mains. A great wayt to use Homeplug is to allow you to locate a WAP closer to your devices so by using Homeplug and Wifi together you get better coverage for your Wifi devices. -- bpa

Thanks Jim, I never changed any of the default settings. Just never looked at the log. I deleted it and everything seems to be fine. Current log just has just a few lines after restarting SC. ~Mike -- barks barks's

While using my Squeezebox to switch between Internet radio stations, the volume suddenly went up dramatically and would not change until I got all the way to mute on the remote. I shut it off, turned it on again and had the same problem. I checked my amplifier on another source and it is fine.
