I cracked open the remote and nothing looks obviously broken. Does anyone know what LED the remote uses? I can break down and get a universal remote, but I'd rather just fix this one if it's cheaper. I have a harmony remote for my TV, which is really nice, but was still something like $75.

There is a crossfade option on the webui. If you are running the server software (playing music files stored on your pc) go to the pc running this software and browse to http://localhost:9000/ Once there on the bottom right go to settings \ player \ audio. You need to set it for all players.

There are several approaches to doing this: - you could write a SBS plugin to do this - use a calendar application which can launch scripts when events trigger. Such a script could talk to SBS to start/stop playback etc. - write your own scheduler application talking to SBS -- Michael
