You are entirely right. I think you'll find that most here think that Logitech's decision to make services on their players dependent on MSB was an atrocious one. At the time they made it (during development of the radio?) All the beta testers advised against it. I don't think that anyone save

As part oif my test I did a search for BBC and played Radio Ulster OK and I just rested with Radio 4 and it played OK with WMA 48kbps. Since the problem is with the WMA stream this looks like the BBC geo locking problem which Andyg had done some special work for UK users when playing through

They can't operate as both a SB Radio and a UE Radio by a simple menu function. It's one or the other requiring a completely separate firmware (OS) for each type. Not that many would not like your idea, as has been suggested before. But it's just not possible.

Spotify use triodes spotify plugin for the LMS server ,but configure it to show up in the radios menu instead of apps . This should work even today, drat ! That I did not took the opportunity to try when mysb.com was down.
