Both the SB3 and the SBR are limited to 48 kHz due to the limitation in
computing power of its CPU, even though the DACs are capable of it.
The Transporter's CPU is clocked higher and does not have this
limitation, it can play 24/96 and a beta firmware can play 24/88.2.

The Jive firmware is downloaded to the cache directory. It's downloaded
on SC startup although I believe it also checks every 12 hours if SC is

Do you have the whole album as a playlist? If so, it should just play
the items in order.
To add a whole album to the playlist when you only search for one track
from it, in the web UI select Settings - Basic Settings - Play Other
Songs In Album. Note this is a per-player setting.

I'm not sure what you mean, the SB3 has a grayscale single-colour 3-line
display and cannot display the full-colour images the controller can
with its LCD display.
You can manipulate what the SB3 will display using the web interface or
the SB3 IR remote.

From the now playing screen, go back one level (the
left arrow on the remote). I think the choice to
connect to SqueezeNetwork is one or two menu items
above it.
If your SB2 is trying to connect to your machine, just
go back one level and go up one.

You can also do this the other way around. SlimServer
will recognize foobar as a player. It will say
player on local IP address. You can change this
to foobar on computer name.
Then set a playlist for foobar using SlimServer and
get the audio stream going in foobar. Start the SB3
and
