say that I see any improvement with my Squeezeboxen, but at least my
802.11g mobile phone loads web pages much faster now. I'm using the
newest DD-WRT on all my wireless routers. I've got a Boom and a Duet,
all running wirelessly less than 10 meters from the AP.

Try pulling the plug on the router and the Radio. Turn the Controller

I had a problem with some FLACs. I re-encoded them with compression -8
and they worked fine thereafter. My guess is that your problem files
are non-standard FLACs. It is then expected that they play nice in some
setups/settings, and not so nice in others.
