Given this seems a Europe issue - would this work do a factory
reset (painful, I know) then in the setup choose the US servers. I
guess because we are in EU we just choose Europe.

Try Allway Sync if you have a Win7 machine - works a treat. Saves
having to remember what you may have changed on the original database.

Mysb is just a database - the connection is between your unit and the
radio station. It doesn't stream anything. So, the problem lies
elsewhere ...

I don't know if this already exists somewhere. I can't find anything
similar.
Most Reciva radios have a Last Listened or History menu item. This
saves the last 10 stations listened to.
Something similar would be useful on SB units.

is a real pain - so I cut out the ballooned battery and
just run it via the mains - but that sort of defeats the purpose of a
semi-mobile device.
So, beware cheap units where you can't change the battery easily. But
then tablets with replaceable batteries aren't cheap either!

Why all the panic and rumour?
The Touch is perfectly useable via LMS, even if development stops
and/or mysb.com shuts down. That's a lot more then many other systems
which depend almost exclusively on a database server accessible via the
internet.

The power on options such as pause, resume, etc. only apply when the
player (Touch or Radio) is connected to a local server. You have to
manually hit play when connected to mysb.com.
Is this a bug, a design feature, or just a missing feature?

minimal.
It's a big omission expecially for the Radio - every other system I've
used does an auto-replay of last station when switched back on.

I have used Newcastle - this gives the counties listing. At Tunein
itself, it gives the correct list.
However, if I use Newcastle upon Tyne, then the listing at Tunein is
only counties - exactly what I see on the SB.
Very puzzling.

I could be wrong but I found that with recent Spotify updates (and
possibly Flash updates) that it's no loner necessary to put the
dsbridge lame files in the Flash directory - just place in the
Spotify folder.
Any confirmation of this?

Fourthly, there is a possibility that a firewall setting is blocking
the port. If 1 and 2 are correct, then switch off the PC firewall (as
