I read that Sonos are going to implement airplay2 for supported models,
surely that opens up an option?

Wow, good times, thanks for all the effort you have put in.
I must have used all the Peng versions and it's still my main way of
playing music, maybe 60% iPeng and 40% via spotify and airplay bridge.
Did you mention a new version soon? I'd be happy to pay some more for a
new version with iPhone
How strong do you think Sonos are though? I can't see much of a future
for them unless they get acquired by Amazon or Apple. I know they are in
a lot of the big name stores but they have laid staff off and failed to
follow through with the voice control they announced. I can see they

Thanks, updated tonight.

The trouble is, lots of people happily running SB2's and SB3''s doesn't

My touch arrives on Tuesday so I may revise my opinion then :)

Just downloaded and looks great :)
You have obviously put a lot of work into using the extra screen area,
I even like the ocular scheme.
The only downside is I need to rescan some of my artwork to take
advantage of the extra resolution!

A good solution if you already have a server for your Squeezecenter (or
a ReadyNAS or similar)

would be cool to have a native app with the performance benefits that

I'm a huge fan of AlienBBC, I'm anazed the userbase is as small as
suggested above.
Maybe the author(s) should put up a donations page. This is one of the
few things I would be more than happy to pay/donate for!
Hmm, good idea :)
Once I had connected to SqueezeNetwork the display fixed itself right
away.
The weird thing is it stayed ok when I connected back to my
squeezecenter afterwards.
Previously the display had stayed corrupt through power cycles and ever
forcing a firmware reload.

That's excellent. I've just used it to clone the setup on my players

I find Tag & Rename a good product for this as it uses Amazon to
populate all parts of the ID3 tag including artwork if required
I find it well worth whatever I paid to register it as it can do pretty
much anything you can think of.
