Neither i always try and improve the sound quality(the detail
+dynamics), if it costs more so be it but sometimes i have found out

Back to a previous post on if its essential or not; I had a Touch in my
front room for years (probably 8) and over the last 2/3 have streamed
Mixcloud with no probs, ive moved the Touch to the bedroom so can still
stream
yeah i have the latest Plugin V01.5 & always play MP4, MPEG 4 AAC set to
Native...but Transporter wont play Mixcloud, Touch plays it with no
problems though!

OP Sys Red Hat Transporter firmware 87, Touch 7.8
when the Touch is connected to the LMS it has no problem playing
Mixcloud but alas Transporter comes up with the error "UNABLE TO PLAY
FILE TYPE FOR"

the current custom-convert.txt file is a vortexbox
not sure how i get your file over onto the vortexbox?
looks like there is a Nov 2017 date next to the current file which is

so as i remotely login i can copy the txt of the file out to notepad
in-case all goes pear shapped
i have then used *nano* custom-convert.txt in to the said file and can
place your file txt there...not sure how to do this bit though as
nothing is visible in the .txt file

all i can do is log in remotely or view the lost and found, music,
movies, pictures, playlist, temp files not sure how
no cant see that directory via the mapped drive only its ip address and
music, lost and found video etc files

the yum commands were used on a keyboard attached to the Vortexbox
server/rs232 Monitor this i have this mapped to my windows machine to
drop files into ...all i know is the drive name/ip address
(V:182.xxx.xxx.xxx) i also have the V/box bookmarked to PC so i can open
i maybe out of my debt at this point here is what i find (will i need
linux to get into those directories?)

ok so when i do the yum install ffmpeg i get package already installed.
the other thing that worries me a little before i proceed with the rest
of the above is that the Touch when connected plays mixcloud i have
attached the log of when the touch streams it below (it
not sure how to copy and paste what i get from command line?
anyhow ls -l *.conf does not bring up anything just get command not
found
so tried ls -l this brought up BIN CPAN FIRMWARE GRAPHICS 2 .dat files
then IR Lib Plugins revisions.txt SQL strings.txt
So i have the Mixcloud app installed on LMS and never needed to mess
with this on the Touch it just worked.
But on my recently purchased Transporter i get the error message
"UNABLE TO PLAY FILE TYPE FOR "
the only way i can get this is to work is use my Touch and the
transporter as a DAC

ok just neeed to clarify as just not happening :confused:
i have downloaded the xml which is saved on my pc
"C:\Users\gaming1\Downloads\repo-playmp4.xml"
i put this in the box click the cursor at the end of the .xml txt, press
enter
at this point it just does a screen refresh and the xml is

Hi all i have a "404 not found" error on mixcloud
it home>mixcloud>mymixcloud >following 404 not found
any ideas how to fix this
what i have done so far is a power off reboot of everything, then i have
uninstalled the mixcloud app and reinstalled ...everything has worked
flawlessly up until
tried the above still no joy, however, it no longer clobbers the whole

after not using any apps for over a week i gave version 1.8 of mixcloud
a go last night since then everything has gone pear shaped no
connection(from transporter or sbt) tried multiple resets/reboots and
check squeezebox status its running/active, but will not open from
vortexbox gui! log file
is there a new problem with mixcloud? something altered mixclouds end
maybe?
as i keep getting an error -plugins::mixcloud::Protocol handler::get
track id(109) Error cannot play url for ..
