Could you tell me a little about linux in education? I am not a
computer scientist, but have been involved in education (adjunct
professor of chemistry in two colleges) and would now like to start a
project of linux education and computer education using linux.

I have an old but barely used HP Pavillion f1703 LCD monitor. I got it
