might get confused if I think get_updated_model might return a model class
instead of an instance.
Could we use something simple like 'update()' and 'commit()' to which save
would call both?

doesn't make the above url_tree pattern impossible
(or harder to do) then I think it's a positive addition. (I have projects
which have very interesting urls patterns)
