I have added external DSP units to help noise. One particular rig I have
with dual receivers I have one on each channel. It has made the difference
between Q or no Q. Just a suggestion from here.

I had the same situation on an L4. I did not know if the seal was
needed or not but to be safe I installed a seal made from gasket
material from an automotive shop.
Some one else might have a better or different idea.
