Hi Tim,
Thanks for your answer. It seems that I've found what it was going wrong from
the dspace log file. One metadata value in input-forms.xml was copied by
mistake and java did not run as expected. Now it works fine and I can see the
initial-questions page in submission form.
thanks again,

Hi,
a question about stopwords lists, to see if i understood correctly..
The stopword lists in /solr/search/conf and solr/statistics/conf
are just used in "Discovery" i.e. SOLR index builds? For "normal"

Hi Michael,
First off, I'll admit, I know next-to-nothing about the Digital Commons
export format.
In case others on this list are in a similar scenario, could you
describe the format of the Digital Commons data export? You said that
it's a large Zip archive. What is the format of files or di

Right. You should file a Jira ticket - maybe there won't be a solution
in DSpace, but at least we might get some feedback.

Hi Nicolás,
it sounds like you accidentaly removed the READ permission for the
Anonymous group in your inaccessible item. That means that currently
nobody has READ permission for the item, not even logged in users.
To edit item authorizations in JSPUI, log inas administrator, go to

Hi Vera,
I'm copying the dspace-tech list back in, so that others can help if
they have ideas. It's best to send your replies to the entire list.
That way others can help out, and if others encounter this same issue in

Hello,
I run DSpace 1.8.2 on a virtual machine (Fedora 15). I allocated 50GB for the
VM, but the assetstore increased dramatically (35GB) and I had to extend the
current disk to 100GB. Is there a way to split up the current assetstore into
two assetstores on two different disks?
Thank you.

See: http://scholar.sun.ac.za
I use LDAP mainly for user provisioning using auto-registration.
However, what will happen when a user is de-provisioned on our LDAP server?
Will the person now have to create another "e-mail" account?
Can I automatically link de-provisioning?

Yes, that would be recommended, but was implemented only in 1.7. If
you have an older version, you still have to use the generic upgrade

Hi Ribin,
Upgrade steps are documented here:

It is possible to upgrade over several versions at once - see the note
on that page.
The chapter about upgrading is a part of an extensive DSpace manual:
