In the sense that when you make it, it's almost flawless.

first one connected gets ttyUSB0, second one ttyUSB1, and so on. If your
ID-1 ends up on ttyUSB1, you then "ln -s /dev/ttyUSB1 /dev/ttyS4" so that
in any case the ID-1 software will end up using COM P
ln -s /dev/ttyUSB0 /dev/ttyS4 # assuming no other USB serial connected
and then you can setup the ID-1 Controller software to use COM Port 5
