Hi,
I heard two UNID transmitters on 1071 kHz (28 NOV 2007 between 1200-1300 UTC)
relaying:
- Mayak
- Radio Golos Rossii
Strength was almost the same (not strong but quite stable) and although I was
observing the channel almost daily during the next week I could hear them in
such
quality
As my country was also a part of the Soviet block I remember how it was
with our transmitters (MW, TV, FM) and their data in EBU lists. For
example, G. Coordinates of our local TV/FM transmitter Krasov refered
to the capital of the region which is 40Km away. It was almost impossible
to get correct
Hi,
does anybody know a tool for conversion of .drm audio files produced by DRM

like Morphy Roberts or Himalaya ? Conversion to MP3 or WAV for further use
would be
fine.

Hi everybody,
I wonder how you managed to solve the known problem of laptop power supplies
(SMPS)
and their noise. At my old IBM laptop it was not so bad but at my new
Fujitsu-Siemens
laptop its switching power supply produces quite a strong noise on LW, MW (AM)
and
up.

Hi,
does the K9AY antenna work on a flat roof of a multi-storey building (e.g. a
7-storey
one)? Is there anybody who knows more? I know that K9AY needs proper grounding
which
perhaps is not possible to provide on a roof despite a grounding net is
installed...
Out of space reasons I am thinking
Hi,
like every year at this time (around 20 November) I think we can expect winter
frequency
changes of some of Chinese domestic stations, like e.g. Xinjiang PBS to
reactivate 4980,
5060 kHz.. etc.
I do not remember the exact D day, maybe it is Sunday?

Xinjiang PSB reactivated its winter frequencies:
4500 (Mongolian)
4980 (Uighur)

The WRTH maybe should mention the winter period (November - April) also at these
frequencies like it does it at 3950 + 3990 kHz.

Hi,
is there anybody who can listen to NDB beacon HI on 361 kHz (Holman, Victoria Is, NWT,
Canada)? It looks like this beacon has been catched at the DX Camp in the Czech
Republic
(Central Europe) at the end of October.
There were also speculations on HA, but the author of the log inclines to HI.
