I upgraded to DX4WIN 7.06.02 last night. I had no problem with getting it
running,but.
The new program is missing many of my QSO's? I'm using the same log file
that resides in my DX4WIN version 7.05. I run the old program with this log
file and, there they are, all my Q's? The log file is fine.
Hi George,
Are you sure it is your log and not the sample log?
Did you import the dx4win.ini ?
Did you copy your log in the new dx4win directory?
Check your preferences if the selected bands are the same

Hi Paul,
I have just installed the 7.06.02 release.
NOT changes found in the ADIF import anomaly that I have indicated to you
on june!!
So, try yourself
1) - Export a log in ADIF mode.
In the ADIF file produced you find the QSL_VIA field (This is
correct !!)
2) - Import the data from
George,
Do you have a mailed cutoff set in the preferences? If yes, set it to 0
and see if the QSO's come back.

It turns out I forgot one update to the awards database. If you track
FOC numbers, there will be another release later this week with the
latest numbers. I didn't notice this until Sunday night when I was
1000 miles away from home :-)
If there is someone active in FOC, please contact me
Jim, is this only for WriteLog conversions? And will this work with the ARRL
160 contest too? I imported OM K9OT's ADIF log from NA into DX4WIN for LOTW
uploading yesterday. Looks like the state field needs to be done by hand.
I can donate his contest log if you need a guinea pig.
And I know
Dear DX4WIN users,
What appears to be random occurrences, the Radio:Ignore mode in real time
becomes activated.
I cannot figure out why this is happening.
I am using an IC775 with a USB microham interface, DX4WIN ver 7.05.03
It is reading the mode / frequency correctly as I change them on the
Another issue,
If I do a sort by frequency, on DXSPOTS, the window will toggle between the
transceiver frequency and the lowest frequency spot at about a 1 to 3 second
change. I thought this might be to the polling frequency of the transceiver
interface. I have it set to 100ms and changed it to
There are now two different download links, depending on whether you
are running 7.06 or an earlier version.

just performed it, following Jim's application notes, and had no problems

Hi Paul
Thanks for the recent update; I have successfully completed this, as you may
have seen. I really appreciate your continued support of this product, as I
am sure many others do.
I may have missed the link, I thought there was a list to reported faults,
but could not find it. There is one

Change the Label field to Upload.
Then import your log. This function works

I am experiencing some problems with the latest version...
Using identical rig files, as we used in 7.05.03 , here's what is happening
in 7.06.02.
1. If the rig is on SSB and I click on a CW spot, say 7044, the rig goes
to 7044.7. If I click on the same spot again, the
Hi Jim and all;
I think I missed something; this problem was fixed between V7.03 and the new
one ?? !!
OK; I'll check the bug fix lists; Just repeated the operation; the UPL flag
was set before and now, imports are set to same group, but 706 works and the
old version didn't !
Great; no work
All,
Thanks to John, W9RPM!...He told me to change the CW Freq Display Menu 055
on the FT9000 and menu 061 on the FT2000D to direct...
This seems to clear up my problem...but it is only in Version 7.06 where
I've experienced this...
So maybe the above will help some of the 2000/9000 users...
I believe Paul swapped the commands to send freq and mode from 7.05 to 7.06:
The radio driver now writes the frequency first followed by the mode;
this change was needed for K3 radios
This could be the cause of the difference you noticed.

I have a test version of WL2DXQ with these new features:
Added ARRL 10 meter
Added ARRL 160 Meter
Added CQ 160 Meter (2009 rules)
ARRL Sweepstakes now works with N1MM
I should probably also add ARRL DX.
I'm testing with ADIF files from both N1MM and WriteLog. No other
loggers
Hello !
It is possible to make in the new version of the program DX4WIN installation
date of reception paper QSL by button F2 pressing?
Good luck to ALL!

I wonder what I am doing wrong ... in either the manual 'set
frequency' tool, or by selecting a DX spot that is set for split VFO
mode, the 'split' indicator on the K3 is activated ... but does not
stay in that mode. It just 'clicks' to split mode for a moment and
then reverts to VFO A mode.
