You don't say which version of DX4WIN.If it's 9.0x, it should prompt
you to mail a bug report. Do that.

I thought it was my thumb drive at I: but I changed it to another one cal
Steve, I got the exact same popup when my internet was down upon startup.
After activating
the internet and restarting the progam all was fine.

Those error messages would indicate the comm port you have chosen in
Preferences>Radio is not correct or available. Do you have the program
linked to your radio? Do you have it configured correctly for the comm port
for your radio?
