, thanks for the bandwidth and I'm mostly just
funnin' with everyone cuz' it don't much matter to me what letter is used and

I just realized something...if we change the M to an O what happens when we
have this string?
CCOCCCOCC
Now the O's and C's look alike! Oh nooo... :O)

Thanks Alan, he has that. I think the part he was missing is the creation
of the new virtual com ports and choosing the correct one :O)

I think Georg is on the right track with that idea. I'm fairly new (only the
last few months) with LOTW but I've already seen what Georg is referring to and
I agree that would be helpful.

Try choosing update before you close the country window after you add it.
That's what I ended up doing to get it to stick.

I had to resurrect
another computer for the shack which also has no physical serial ports and had
no com ports listed. Originally I had the radio set on com port 7. I have
tried 3 and 7 to no avail. What the heck am I forgetting to get my radio
talking with the new computer again?

Hi Kurt,
Been running mine on DX4WIN for years with no problems so can't speak to the
issue you raised (EPROM question) as I have not experienced it other than
when I was on VFO B instead of VFO A.

Hi,
I've been using DX4Win for many years with my 920 and no problems with both
VFO's. It was typically having the memory selection on on the radio or the
spots not formatted correctly in the spot window, but it does work fine and
there is no bug that causes the problem.
