and it works flawlessly.

Does anyone know if there is a way that I can export the log data
for a specific period (say Feb 11, 2001 thru Feb 16, 2001) to a file
and import it into a "new callsign" in DXbase 2005, or directly import the
data into DXbase 2005?
Thanks

Rick,
I have set you up as a spider node here.

I know this is not DXBASE but I'm sure some of you use CT as a contest
program.
I am using an Icom interface cable made by N9ZLE to connect my laptop to
my Icom 706MKIIG.
Dxbase works with no problem and the software that I got with the cable
works well controlling the radio, but, I can not get
of that kind of stuff.
And do a search on USB devices.
I remember there was a web site solely devoted to USB adapters etc. but I don't
have it in
my files and a quick Google didn't come up with it.

some others could tell you if they have tried USB/serial conversion to
connect with Winkey.

Just to put my mind at ease, is anyone using the combo DXbase with a
K1EL-Winkey and a USB/serial adaptor with N9ZLE cable on an Icom 706MKIIG?

I believe that anyone who wants to "take over" has a few obstacles.
First, DxBase is using a Microsoft database, for which I believe there
is a licensing fee.
I'm sure there's plenty of guys out there who can do this but it's not
simple!
