G'morning:
In case anyone is still wondering about shipping status of
the KAT500, I placed an online order on Sunday afternoon.
Monday afternoon I received an email saying it had been
shipped. I'll have it here in RI on Wednesday.

OK Don - here is what I found.
First I checked pin 2 on the KSB2. It was ok and I checked continuity from

the soldering of J11 pin 2. I touched it up and double checked for solder
bridges.
KSB2 was reinstalled and it

I usually run the line out level around 20. If you need it to be less
than 1, you must be feeding a mic level input. Sounds like you need to
add an attenuator, if you can't use a line-level input.

Many thanks to all who replied to my post. The issue appears to be the Pin

At one QTH (Key Largo) I have noticed a problem similar to Tom's with the

Hi everyone. I hope this isn't redundant, but I can not find the answer to it:
On the K3, several versions ago of software the synchronous AM feature
tracked and locked on to the carrier frequency within at least several hundred
Hz. The last several software revisions (beta) do not lock.
Radio Shack also has one. Look carefully in the stores.

I was stating what worked for me on 80m. It shifted the voltage peak to
another portion of the feed, though the SWR was the same.
It brought the apparent SWR without the KAT500 from 24:1 down to a range
that was more acceptable to the tuner.

True. That is a possibility, of course ... that on 12m the voltage
