I think I have to some calibration because I only get 85w out on the kpa-100.
No worries. I read this is easily fixed.
However I notice my power output fluctuations between 17 and 22 watts with the
tune button. It clearly goes up and down in a tick-tock fashion.
Can anyone exlain why this
I have failed the power supply test on the KPA-100. I measure -0.33v across
the aux power supply to the K2.
Ah... I have confirmed that the reverse polarity protection in the KPA-100
works a treat.

I just upgraded my firmware and installed the CW modkit. All seems to be going
well.
I do notice now that when my GrPH is in dOt mode I get momentaryand alternate
flickering of the 2nd and 7th led when I am running 10 watts (when I transmit

I used to notice that when I was tuning in 1Khz steps my frequency used to
always end up about 30khz or 50khz higher. So from tuning say from 5050.00 to
7070.00 using the 1Khz tuning rate the fine tune frequency read at would be
7070.03 or 7070.05.
Anyway, I did the recalibration of my K2
