narrow peaks of a transmitting signal which sounds the closest to normal,
has the best signal. Those with flat peaks or multiple peaks are those
which aren't quite as strong. Interesting. I am learning. Love the
display!!! Great piece of equipment.

Perhaps adjusting the contrast is what is needed. Check the manual for a

I had an issue with W2. Could not figure out what was going on. It was
WORKING! Cables ok, everything tested ok. Had current firmware... reloaded
it again. Fixed! WHEW!
When in doubt, reload, reboot.

I forgot, in the heat of playing with a new toy, to pass
other than to help you decide on how to use the ATT and
Preamp settings This helps the dynamic range. I would rather listen to
a clean S7 signal than an S9 + without clarity. Hope that makes sense.

Peter, I wouldn't either. I own a THP HL-2.5kfx. So I may be a bit
prejudiced. It runs like a champ with my K3. Can't hear me, oh, let me
turn on my amp. :-)

. The same. 2
meters must be on the primary receiver. I have the second receiver option,
but have it shut off on 2 meters. I have had some suggestions to monitor 2
meters and another band at the same time, but won't go down that path. I
Have a k2 to monitor lower bands when using the k3 on 2.

Seems when I have the Sub Receiver set on 6 Mtrs and the main band on 75,
the PR6 isn't getting the signal through the RX. Or do I not need the RX on
to use the PR6, or is the PR6 out of circuit when in this configuration?

Brett,
Thank you for the response. I haven't considered the use of the pass through
BNC's. I want to use the Sub Rec and the 6 meters and be able to switch back
and forth to transmit on any 160-6 meter freqs.

an easier time
figuring out the 2 mtr transverter than the PR6 operation. It's probably just
an issue of getting used to using it.
