OK K3 connoisseurs, I've got some more information on my RTTY / line out problem. - K3 + line out = OK. - microHAM hardware and software = OK. - I tune to an RTTY transmission and have the K3 decode. The tuning aid tells me I'm right on. I'm not using Dual PB and listen 300Hz wide on a 500Hz

Solved thanks to Ed W0YK, who told me to see if the K3's FSK pitch matched the MMTTY mark. It didn't, now it does and all works fine (3 modes). My K3 can listen so narrow compared to the TS-850... I think I'm going to love this rig when it gets hot on HF, expecially on CW. 73 de Franki ON5ZO

About the only band that is somewhat usable from here is the 40m band. 30m at my sunset until 0100utc has been VERY hot this summer, with only a rotary Fritzel triband WARC dipole at 10m high most of the time (unless the tower was cranked up). I experienced 30m being more constant in openings
