FYI - Version 4.51 - The CW Decode/CWT function on my sn# 705 is mostly
non-functional no matter what I set the threshold to. I mostly use the CWT
for zero beat or to see how far off others are calling (DX) - that still
works on the stronger sigs but not on weak ones.

Alan,
Thanks for the reply! The static setting will not do what I was interested
in. It sets the display for a fixed span and will not display the sigs
beyond that setting, even if you tune outside the span.
I set my K3 memories for 7.030, 14.030, 21,030, etc. When I select the band,
the K3
. Switch band
to 3965 Khz and back and it will go to 14.35 Mhz - sometimes but not
always.
Does the P3 remember settings along with K3??

carriers either side at 12Khz offsets. Tuning around, I found what appears
to be the fundamental at 20445.11 kHz. The freq's are with rig on CW normal
- the freq's listed change with mode. Turning P3 off makes no difference.
I would like to get rid of these or minimize the levels - any ideas?
Gill
Thanks for the suggestions guys - for those of you with P3's - tune to
20445.11 on CW nor mode and take a look with the span on the P3 set at
200khz. A regular picket fence of birdies! (at least on my K3)

You can reset everything by the following:
Power off
Hold in shift knob while pressing power on switch unit it fully powers up
You will have to
. All this is assuming that sound
card is clean and not activating VOX. If you turn on VOX and it keys again,
then you still have a computer soundcard issue.
Good Luck

Bob,
Thanks for the confirmation. I have spectrum lab - will take a look after

switches from 150hz to 100hz, most noticable on weaker sigs.
