ndwith is changed. For
example, if looking at full band, scaling would be a tic mark every 20 Khz.
If looking at a 50 kHz slice, scaling should be a tic mark every 2 kHz.
Could something like this be accomplished with a software patch??

Yes.
Take a look at the KRC2 Band decoder.
It decides which antenna to select based on band data from the K3 and
provides the relay drivers (12 or 24 volt) to operate your coaxial switches,

Let's see...
That would only be $8,000, along with the attendant problems with power
dividers and combiners and keeping the two modules balanced and in phase
with each other, not only to mention keeping everything cool.
I ran a full K Line in the CW contest this past weekend and worked everyone
I am using a borrowed LDG600 with somewhat satisfactory results, but will
also be buying a KAT500 if and when they are made available for purchase by
Elecraft.
The LDG tunes all of my antennas well except for 160 meters, where it has
trouble finding a match at times. I'm using a 3 el cubical

It will be really interesting to hear all the low power QSOs when the KX3s
get on the air!.

The KPA500 on the other hand was 500 watts ++ on every band, from 10 meters
to 160 meters.
For CQWW SSB 2012 we will retire the THP and hopefully have a second KPA500
in the station!

was that if the KPA500 could endure nearly 48 continuous hours of
operation without failure that it would prove to be an extremely reliable
amp in regular operation.
If you worked us in the contacts, thank you for the QSO and the points!

We are now 24 hours into the contest and the KPA 500 is perking right along

We brought it on the VE2DXY DXpedition to give us the ability to band-hop

Worked ST0R on two bands so far, both using the KPA500, SB on 20 mtrs and 15
mtr RTTY.
Ran the amp at reduced input on RTTY for 200 watts out, fan didn't even come
on.
Trying for qso on 20 cw is challenging. Generally the amp is running around
50 deg C after extended ops.
