Good morning Don, I check the voltages on my K2 last night and here are the
results.
I set my
AGC back to 3.746 from the 3.80 this way I could compare your results to
mine.
With RF gain set to clockwise or full. My voltage readings are to the right
of yours.
U2 pin 5 -- 3.74 volts 3.05
Don just by way of update, I have now tried again to do the CAL S LOW and CAL
S HI here are the results.
The CAL S LOW reading is now at 164
The CAL S HIreading is now at 23
Some odd things that have happened.
1. I adjusted R1 to get a voltage at U2 pin 5 of 3.80 volts. When this was
done I

It's all figured outI had dual watch on (not sure how that happened) it
seemed when VFO B was close to VFO A then the ping effect happened. Turned

Good evening all. I believe I solved the problem I had put the rig on charge
(so I thought) last night for 16 hours. Once I turned the rig off the LCD
just went to it's normal black screen. After posting my question I wanted to
try a 4 hour charge and once the rig was shut off the display light up

Here is something I was also wondering could I utilize the AUX on the sub
receiver with the MFJ 1026 either along side the KXV3A in out connections?
The reason for asking this is I use diversity receive and was not sure if I

have a Fluke that can be configured for 10 amps the other options is

Have I changed any of the synthesizer settings when I rotated the VFO knob
earlier and changed the RF settings. I was not sure if I also changed the

the main receiver and then did the sub receiver. I then went into the K3
utility and did the RF gain calibration for both main and sub receivers.Oh
and also entered the filter data for the sub as well. All is going FB and

197 RF Limiter / receiver protect by Iceproducts. I will look into that too
