I have noticed the same issue with my K3 when using the front panel. It also
causes problems when trying to set VFO-B from DX Commander (part of the DXLab
suite). Through the CAT interface, when I set VFO-A to Data-A and then swap
the A and B VFO's, VFO-B remains in FSK-D sub-mode.

I have multiple QSO's each with W1AW/0 and /3 and have received no QSL's yet.
But I just got QSL's from the /7 and /4 stations from the previous week. And
last week I got confirmations from the /4 and /8 stations active the first
week. So they appear to be about a week behind. Strange for
and down arrow keys controlling
frequency in ten Hertz steps.

Hi Bob
I just installed the P3SVGA option and am having a lot of fun programming the
text message and K3 macros. But I seem to have lost the display of the P3
function keys assignments that I normally see at the bottom of the P3 LCD
display. Is this a setting I have screwed up or a bug?

reason. You could try cycling power again.

What about the drive formatting? I'm guessing NTFS is not supported. What

It is good that the wrong format message is distinctly different than the

This sounds like an interesting project. It would seem that the technique
would be finding the offset frequency that provides the best alignment of
harmonics, which is what we naturally do by ear. Not difficult, but would
probably need a bit of tweaking to provide good real-time performance.
I understand this sound card control utility works on Windows 7. I have not
tried it.

Greetings,
My recent factory assembled KPA500 has a hole in the front panel between the
power button and the fault light. I can find no mention of this in the manual
or on the forums.
Does anybody know what this is? Perhaps a hard reset?
Thanks and 73,

Ah-ha. If I had done my own assembly, I would have known that. A lesson for
next time. :-) I should probably read the assembly manual cover-to-cover
anyways
Thanks all for the quick responses.

On the K3 (probably common code with the KX3) the bandwidth knobs also seem to

Hi Don,
My K3 is currently running WSPR at 1 watt on 20 meters through a DX-CC
multiband dipole in a third story attic.
You can see the signal reports here:
http://wsprnet.org/drupal/wsprnet/map
(To see my current results, set the callsign to N7ZO, band to 20M, and
period to last 24 hours.)
Here is Pelican's baggage chart:

It looks like the 1620 is the biggest case that can be commonly checked
without oversize charges.

There was a discussion on this back in 2009, but I haven't found
anything recent in this list or in hfwnotes.rtf.
My main application is for recording
sidetone and speech/data monitor audio.
