[Elecraft] K3 KRX3 Install.....

2016-09-22 Thread W5RDW
Recently finished the install of the KRX3 receiver and two KSYN3A synthesizers in my K3. I have had the 2nd receiver sitting in its box too long, but family problems was the priority the last year or so. When the new KSYN3a came out, it looked like a good option to install also. My K3 was a

I've just finished installing a KRX3 with the KBPF3 and when I push the sub button it tells me NO SUB. I have been through the menus several times, setting up the filters and modes and bandwidths for the main and the sub receiver but I still get the same error when I try to select the sub

Did you power cycle the radio after enabling the additional features in the menu? And you can hit SUB while in the KBPF3 feature menu to turn on which RX you've installed the filter into. Yes the radio does automatically select it when travelling outside the ham bands. ~BTH (KC7OTG) On Sun,

I'm installing a KRX3 in K3 #2006 and have a small confusion. I'm on p. 20 of the KRX3 installation manual. I have confirmed that R91 has a value of about 22 ohms (21.9 on my meter). The 4th step on the page says that if that is the case, skip directly to the next page. Being curious, I
