Hi Gary I have done that with my K2, K3 and KPA/KAT500. However you should take into account (I did not) that for any repair (including warranty repair) you will have to pay for the shipping both ways when not being in the US. Shipping the KPA is not exactly cheap. I happen to know for a fact
