Phil, I did use the grill and gasket update and the gasket gave me adequate space from the replacement speaker front to the case to allow distortion free output. I had original applied small stick on feet near each corner which I think works quite well. I really think the maximum speaker

Bill – I do have the grill/gasket, and the new speaker. But I could only really get rid of the buzz by adding the snipped grommet between the speaker bracket and bottom case as described, which apparently damps the vibrating speaker bracket. At least this worked well for me – and for N1RX.
