I had a Samsung SyncMaster 24" which was very susceptible to RFI on 80M. It would turn off whenever I transmitted. The antenna is an inverted Vee, less than 1 wavelength from the monitor. I was able to stop this problem by wrapping 6 turns of the AC power cable around a big clamp on ferrite. (T

I have received enough replies to report the trend. With one exception no problems were reported. The list of brands was most of the mid to major names such as Dell, LG, HP, Acer, ViewSonic, Planar, ASUS. The exceptions were Samsung. Not all Samsung monitors were reported as problematic. M
