I bet that 90% of us Elecrafters have a computer running alongside the K3/K2 at all times. Now, wouldn't it be an idea if there was a version of the upcoming P3 *without display* *or soundcard*, but from where a cable could be connected to the computer's soundcard. We have already a nice, large

I used to feel this way until I picked up a fast PC on Ebay. I now use it strictly for radio control. It has a dual VGA monitor output. I have PowerSDR running on one screen and Logger32 on the other With MIXW running in the background. The mouse smoothly slides between the 2 monitors.

I do not use a PC with the K3 and I am portable all the time so the P3 is the way to go for me. My only concern will be my ability to read what is on the smaller display. IF Elecraft supply a Video Out from the P3 then I will get one as there are smaller LCD monitors running low power (12vdc)
