format for LoTW in such a way as to break HRD, and after a year of
ownership, would the corrective update be free, or would the HRD user
have to pay for an update to get the correction?

Problem solved! Tnx for all the responses.
After lots of trailerror (only errors) I fired up my TR7 and hooked it
up to my PC.
SAME problem. But I did get one QRZ! So they did hear me.
A wild guess. I replace the sound card in my PC. FIXED!! :-)

That sounds like the PTT in the SignaLink box has broken.
HRD has an option to send PTT via a K3 command - try setting that on and

I downloaded it last night and they had problems with their key server so
it was quite late before I could even run it. I have a KX3 and it didn't

Well, I found a bit of a problem. The log/QRZ lookup function isn't working
correctly. I'm on 80m right now with DM780 and every callsign it checks
with QRZ is marked that I've worked it on 80m PSK31. That's rather
impossible since I've never worked 80m PSK31 at all before getting the KX3

Well, I guess there is little need for me to worry about V6 for now. I
was afraid this would be the case. The V5.0 works fair with the K3 -
limited for buttons and sliders and unreliable button indicators.
