Ed, The LED bargraph indicates approximately 1/2 watt per bar, so yes, 2 bars = 1 watt, 6 bars = 3 watts and so on. The KXAT1 will remember the tuning for each band, so after you do an initial TUNE to match an antenna on any one band, there is no need to do a tune after switching bands.
