Hello,
As i use principally JT65A (snice ~ 2years),
i've remarked transmit output power variations
depending where the audio is located in the waterfall,
as i'm not speaking English, it's difficult to explain correctly;
if i'm ~ in the middle of the waterfall (~ 1200Hz)
i get over 3dB in output

No, I did not miss the the release notes for 3.30. However, recently audio

I use the same settings for ALC(also 5 bars in JT65), USB and use

I found the same solution, but a little different. I ruined a tip drilling a
hole in it. SO the next time a just counter sunk a little on the flat side and
took a hacksaw blade and made a groove from one side to the other. I clamped
the handle of the soldering iron in the panvise and
Since you're using USB, you might want to be sure you have the TX EQ

Even though I have little helpful to report, I felt I should post the
outcome. In short, my KPA100 had a spontaneous and unexplained recovery
from its 80 meter distortion. The audio as monitored by another receiver,
while transmitting into a dummy load, is now absolutely without audible
I don't understand why anyone would use USB mode to operate a sound card data

Ed,
The LED bargraph indicates approximately 1/2 watt per bar, so yes, 2
bars = 1 watt, 6 bars = 3 watts and so on.
The KXAT1 will remember the tuning for each band, so after you do an
initial TUNE to match an antenna on any one band, there is no need to do
a tune after switching bands.
Okay thanks Don.
