at it you might as well do the same for the KAT500. I’ll try to decipher what
is going on from this information and hopefully get a good solution for you

I had a KPA500 issue 5 months after purchase. I took out the coil (the heavy
part) and paid for shipping back to the mother ship. They fixed it really fast
and sent back at no charge. Could not be more pleased with their service.
