Is been working fine for over a year now. I don't have a P3 but it should
get you started down the right path.

Even with a Y cable from SteppIR the controller only listens to the signals.
It does not ask for anything. So you have to have something that is sending
out polling data regula

Hi everyone!
I am a happy new owner of a brand new K3S and a P3, and everything is working
quite well.
Now, I would like to connect my SteppIR SDA-100 antenna controller to the K3S.
I would like to be able to not use the computer to control the antenna
controller.
Any suggestion from a few
I have had a SteppIR 3 element with about 250 feet of RG-213. I have not

I've developed a bit of SteppIR lust. Please let me know off

Well it looks like my K3 won't talk to my Steppir anymore. I saw a post a while
back where a gentleman was having a problem. Y cable, baud, all is ok. I
haven't used the Steppir or the radio in a week or so. Been busy farming. Any
suggestions? It's been working on this K3 and my old one for a

Hello,
I'd love to hear from anyone who has controlled a
SteppIr from the K2.
Hope to have mine OTA this weekend, would like to
avoid any potential pitfalls.
Hope to play in IOTA, but really hope to work a lot of
Elecrafters in the NAQP CW Party.

Hi John,
The SteppIr housings are fiberglass and can be
purchased seperately. (I picked someones spare up to
play with at some point). They had a nice booth at
Dayton where you could see the internal parts in
action. It's a great idea for someone who wants an
all in one neat package. I bought one
I hooked up my K2 to my SteppIR for the first time in few years and the
serial interface is muting the audio and the S meter flashes solid on my
basic K2. The antenna is tracking band changes properly in General Coverage
Mode, Kenwood/4800, with the K2 interface cable. I seem to remember doing
