I am not sure if I understand what all the excitement is about. From what I
can see from the pictures, the Elecraft knob does not have a swiveling
finger dimple. I am still of the opinion that the tuning knobs
Really nice looking but what would be the effects of the extra weight on the
axis after extended use ?

Perhaps the extra weight to which the shaft encoders that are subject to
by the heavier knobs would invalidate Elecraft's warranty.

knobs for Elecraft K2 and K3s. They are a bit pricey but very high quality.
