Well you aren't far off David. My contact on the inside says they are
expecting them mid-December. I just got in at the end of the 1st prodn
run so just hoping I might get it in time for ARRL 10m Contest!

I've got no particular place to go. Unlike most I guess, I'm not going
contesting or chasing a dxpedition. When I get my K3, I'll just fire it up for
a good cw ragchew on 40 meters, probably with someone in the next state. In the
meantime, the ol' trusty K2 will keep me company :)

I built my K2 last year, and I am continuing to get to know it better,

a comparison and contrast of the K2 and the IC7000, or just other radios

Hi Ian
My order was delivered by UPS I did not want to use Parcel Forcedue to
recent experiences..
I was charged VAT of the total sum plus £11.00 collection fee
This was as expected.
I have now opened the box and I have to admit I can not get the numerous
antistatic/ ESD bags the way they
Hat's off to the Brits, I'm assuming K3 #36 is the
first one to the UK (of many).
I have a question about the UK version of the K3 - Did
you get to speak with Lisa Jones? ;-)

I ordered my K3 on the 2nd day after it was anounced, and have not heard
anything, or much worse, have not received a box at my doorstep yet!
There must have been a huge surge that first day!
It should be fun to see how many K3's get sold in the initial runs, and when
the test results and the
The last reflector posted K3 serial number was #31.
Serial number #25 was the latest reported before that.
For some reason the serial number page takes the
greatest interest (hits) of the entire wiki. Please
email me if you have K3 #26 through #30 or maybe there
are some later than #31.
I guess 8 of them must be on their way to the VP6 Ducie Island packing
depot by now, as all gear is going to be shipped in November according
to the VP6 website.
