I'm not familiar with canadian regulation and I've collected not very clear
answers on the matter; I'd like to know what exactly I have to do in order to
sell a medical device in Canada.

It depends on the standard. Some standards, especially those for household
use, define size for the signal words such as CAUTION or DANGER (typically
min. 2.4 mm) and for the size of lettering for the rest of the markings
(typically min. 1.6 mm). Other standards, like UL/EN60950 do not
