That depends on what channel the tvi is on. If you are talking below vhf
channels it is probably radiated but if it is uhf then it most likey is
conducted.

Kevin,
I had that same issue with I was working with the EMC Directive. In fact, I
had five very different EMC test plan signed-off by different EMC Competent
Bodies. The bottom line is that interpretations do vary between Notified
Bodies. The way they get around this issue, at least

Hello Group,
Here are some LVD protocol issues for you. If you had a product type tested
by one notified body then at some later time a second notified body (doing
market surveillance) determines that they feel the product does not meet the

Muriel,
I have a couple of questions and comments.
1. Is the video to the TV coming in via cable or antenna?
If you have a good cable coming in and you still get noise, it is more
likely that the noise is entering the chassis via the power cord.
Hi Joe,
Start with UL 913. Then go to CSA, UL or FM sites and search on the
topics, intrinsic safety hazardous locations hazloc.
Also, on the Safety Link, you will find a link to a 6-part tutorial on
this subject . Search on the term intrinsically safe or crouse-hinds

Dear Members
I'd
Muriel: If you have access to a ferrite core (ring shaped) try winding the
cord of the blender two to three turns through the core. This might reduce
the RF in the line enough to make the interference something that can be
acceptable. There is also the possibility that the interference is

locations the power outlets are kept to a single phase per floor to prevent
