1. HAR mark.
I have heard that this mark can only be used when
the cordage is manufactured in a factory physically
located within the HAR countries. Is this true?

A) I've not heard that CE Markings should go on cordage but .
B) I believe that HAR Harmonized Cordage is a CENELEC program and only
available to CENELEC member countries and manufacturers located therein.

Rich, let me muddy the waters a bit. A power cord assembly requires three,
yes, three approvals. One each for the wire, the plug and the socket. The
HAR marking is just for the wire. An agency
