Does anyone have any spare absorber or ferrite tiles to sell ?
If so please get in touch.
Looking for up to 100m2 ferrite, and about 50m2 of RF absorber.

Greetings All,
I am in the process of looking for left over ferrite tiles or used ferrite
tiles from
decommissioned anechoic chambers. If anyone in the group knows of chambers
that are
being torn down and would like to have the tiles removed, please contact me
directly
via email.
Many thanks
Dear colleagues,
We are looking for 55 to 60 m2 (550 to 600 ft2) surplus ferrite absorbers
for completing the lining of a shielded room. The types of ferrites that we
are looking for are listed below. However, other types with reasonable
reflection attenuation within 30 to 1000 MHz would do the

Group,
Has anyone attempted to paint the inside of an anechoic chamber (i.e., paint

ferrite tiles by the absorber cones, which result in darkening the chamber's
inside. The idea is to paint the ferrite tiles in a light color
Grettings All,
Does anybody out there know of any labs or companies that may be downsizing or
going out of business looking to get rid of any ferrite tiles?
You may contact me privately if wish.

The creation of a FAR using ferrite tiles works using
a resonant system with ferrite tiles. The resonant frequency
is dependent on the thickness of the tiles. At this frequency
the damping is maximized and approx rising at 6 dB/oct .
Standard tiles resonate at 130-150 Mhz.
Has anyone of you

Ken et al,
I don't think these particular mag sheets evoke anywhere nearly so strong a
magnetic field, I can't measure it here. But, I can put a strip of it over

You might be right on point 2... A curious person with a TEM cell might want to

Although this sounds like
reflections or refractions of an incident wave as it
hits this material BEFORE hitting the ferrite tiles.
Also, I measured a few magnetic decorations, and I found that the magnetic
field strength at the rear surface is on the order of hundreds of Gauss.
What effect might this strong magnetic field have

We have Velcro on the the styrofoam cosmetic panels supplied in our

It works OK if you use lots of Velcro and the tile surface is very clean.
I think the chamber vendor used acetone to clean the tile before applying
the Velcro strips

We have been considering adding some type of white, light weight, solid
covering using Velcro or similar techniques so that the covering is
removable. One thought has been ceiling tiles. Any suggestions?
