Thanks for the last second offer. I've been slaving at the shop all day
and just got the email now @ 23:41 Colorado Time.
I don't want to be the hold up, so don't worry about me. I'll get them
when I get them. I have 5 different machine building projects in
process with 2 more on the side

Hello,
we have made here in Germany a group buy more than a year ago. I have
developed a custom hardware.
It consists out of four boards.
- quad 16-bit DAC board based on a BurrBrown DAC7744 chip
- encoder input board with up to six differential encoder inputs
- board with 12inputs ( limit switch
Ali,
Just a heads up as one who went through the PID tuning not too long ago.
Before even trying to adjust the PID values, make absolutely sure all of
your ini file parameters are correct / reasonable. I was tuning my PIDs at
the same time some of the units changed in the ini files, and ended up u

Thanks for the response, I know how to run emc and

either halscope or some other way, I don't think that
part is quite working yet, or I could be mistaken.
What I am trying to do is outlined
Hi -
I am currently using a 5i20 with a 7i30 100W/channel
H-Bridge and it works, you don't really need analog
drives and has enough bang for most CNC machines,
although there are some configuration issues that were
not quite documented in the default m5i20 files but
hey, that is part of the learni

That sort of answers a question I was going to ask. I have worked with

Why don't you guys direct your energy in making EMC more user friendly

Not really a closed offer, but we announced it only on the developers
list, because Pete at Mesa is willing drop ship to individuals as a
favor (saving SWP a lot of repac

Man, I guess I need to get an IRC client setup.
Or maybe it was a closed offer.
Either way I would love to get in on the buy of Mesa 5i20 at the 5+
pricing, I'd be in for 2.
One for bench testing and one for dedicated use.
Since it sounds like the 5i20 with a few tweaks should be a good match

Thanks to all for your quick response.
Let's introduce myself.
2 year ago I appeared in this list saying that I wanted to make a
hexaglide type parallel manipulator. Then I got a lot of support from
this list, bibliography references,...

Go to their online catalog page 861 at the bottom of the page. Or search
for ultra precision limit switch.
They're expensive but it's nice to know they exist if you can justify the
price.
