I'm looking at this imported step file.I see many details I'd change. For example the "bearing cap" has some M4 screws thread into holes with no threads and the blocks with the unthreaded hills look like they would break. I'd fill that area with plastic or use some big fillets. Lots of

There are 100 brands. Just search for "food grade silicone grease" on amazon. It is really common. It is used for everything from o-rings on scuba equipment to meat grinders. Amazon has two dozen brands and it's all the same stuff. It is FDA approved for use near food so it will not kill

This is likey a good enough BOM for that step file Make it by using "grep ASSEMBLY_USAGE_OCCURRENCE" on the .step file. It will require some hand cleanup. #206=NEXT_ASSEMBLY_USAGE_OCCURRENCE('MOTOR_CAP:1','MOTOR_CAP:1',

Don't scale the entire part unless caliper show you the entire part is scaled too small. (this is very unlikely) Better to simply adjust the one hole you need to be larger. Or if it is less than about 0.1mm put the part on a lather and bore it out to size. I did this to all my timing belt

.STEP started out as the native format for Solidworks but is now an ISO standard. You can read and write the file with many different programs. FreeCAD is one. But the file is just a plain old ASCII text file. If there is some data inside try "grep" or just a text editor and search for a word.

Vaseline . cheap grease FDA silicon based is better but you talk about PLA which is the water soluble part so when you increase the speed make sure that there is no water inside or humidity the temperature and the water increase the disintegration of this plastic. PET
