I looked into PNCconf with the prob_x2 XML file. I found a bug caused by Peters's XML's not using the same labels as linuxcnc's XMLs. It caused some of the GPIO pins not to show. I will push a fix. Great. Downloadable by itself? URL? I will push to 2.5.x but it is a one line

I believe you just explained it. And I can't home using the present BOB wiring, home switches are on no pin because I'll have to edit that into the .hal file which I have not done yet. PncConf does not know about home switches yet, or at least I've not found them in the menu's. Cheers,
