hey guys
just getting back to this index pulse stuff
i have re hacked my whole config and remember what i did now lol
i am disabling m19 spindle orientation now i think and i just want to
rotate the spindle at 5rpm until the spindle index enable pin triggers high
if i can't use the encoder
I got a 10position tool changer and the turret choses the fastest direction
to select new tool.

It's pretty easy.

I can send you my classic ladder stuff though if you want

I have made more progress on the Clausing NC. My DC servo dives operate in
Current Mode and are controlled by LinuxCNC using a cascaded Position and
Velocity PI controllers. I have a Huanyang VFD 7.5 kw drive running the
spindle but just manually controlled for now. I still need to add a
spindle

Can't say but friends enjoy it daily with their haas and siemens lathe.
and can't find a decent video on F360 late
turning. Have you come across one?

For easy LinuxCNC integration I think that the sensible choices are
either Glade + Gtk or QT.
I don't know much about QT, but Plasmac made a shift to QT from whatever it
was first written in, so must have something going for it.
For a custom GUI, though, it might make sense to start with Gscreen

Why do you imagine that they should?
What the heck _is_ align.zip?

Possibly because I mostly machine with a grooving tool, so you don't need a
tool-change.
