[e-users] characters on titlebar get garbled in e16.8pre2

Hello I upgraded my e16 to e16.8pre2. The installation went fine and works well execpt for one thing. The Japanese characters shown on a titlebar get garbled, while the caracters in a dialog and menus are normal. When I run configure, I used --enable-hints-gnome and --enable-ecore-x options.

[e-users] desktop freezing like in windows xp

hi, lately i have been experiencing lots of freezing. my desktop just freezes. i can move the mouse but can't click on anything anymore. the keyboard is also dead. i use e17 .023 from cvs on archlinux 0.7.1 i installed gnome for a day to see if same thing happens there too, but it doesn't.
