Have you tried the E17 Places Module (http://code.google.com/p/e17mods/wiki/Places)? It is in the SVN at trunk/E-MODULES-EXTRA/places. Or if you use easy_17.sh (http://omicron.homeip.net/projects/#easy_e17.sh ) it is in e_modules_extra package list. For me places works very well, and I do
