[e-users] What do e16/e17 users use for a keyboard indicator/switcher?

2006-02-09 Thread jackson
to switch keyboard locales. I realize that the best answer to my problem would be a keyboard indicator module for e17, but as that probably doesn't exist in any form yet, I'd like to know what others are doing. Thanks in advance, Jackson

I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I cannot find the command for launching efm. I read through all the enlightenment_remote --help options, and I couldn't find a relevant option. Am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks, Jackson p.s. does anybody know how to change the default

[e-users] is there copy/paste/etc. in e17 fm2?

2007-08-25 Thread Jackson!
a simple file cut/copy/paste, whether through ctrl+x/c/v, through DND, or contexts menus, is the only thing keeping fm2 from being totally usable IMHO, but I'm wondering if I just missed it... I checked the TODO, and I didn't see anything on adding these cut/paste, is it already implemented

[e-users] Latest e17 mixer module: does it work yet?

2008-09-21 Thread Jackson
I've got e17 updated sources, and i've enabled the mixer module, but it only seems to recognize--if you can call it that--a dummy sound card, and doesn't change any settings. Should I bother trying to get it recognize my card, somehow, or is it simply not functional yet? Thanks kindly, jackson

[e-users] e_dbus fails on recent svn builds

Perhaps this is already common knowledge, or perhaps I'm the only one having problems, but e_dbus (and, thus, e as well) has failed to build for the past week or so (since the inclusion of eina, I suspect). I'm on ubuntu, using easy_e17.sh, and I get this error (and, yes, eina is already

Re: [e-users] e failing to build after maverick update... thoughts?

2010-11-03 Thread Jackson
Yes all the e libs are coming from svn via the easy-e17 script. Everything else is Ubuntu repositories. It is possible that the upgrade is a red herring, but I had successfully compiled e17 from svn (easy script again) less than a week before upgrade and have not been able to recompile it since.
