to switch keyboard locales. I realize that the
best answer to my problem would be a keyboard indicator module for e17,
but as that probably doesn't exist in any form yet, I'd like to know
what others are doing.

icelandic, old-greek, modern latin, japanese and other
character sets...but for some reason I cannot figure out how to get the
module to recognize my locales. Is the module working, or does someone
know how to make it functional or precisely what it does?

I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I cannot find the command for
launching efm. I read through all the enlightenment_remote --help options,
and I couldn't find a relevant option. Am I looking in the wrong place?

p.s. does anybody know how to change the default
program firefox to use efm instead of nautilus and/or nothing.

Perhaps this is already common knowledge, or perhaps I'm the only one having
problems, but e_dbus (and, thus, e as well) has failed to build for the past
week or so (since the inclusion of eina, I suspect). I'm on ubuntu, using
easy_e17.sh, and I get this error (and, yes, eina is already
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I'm having problems using enlightenment_remote from a virtual terminal.
If
I issue the command enlightenment_remote from the vt prompt (not xterm,
eterm, etc--they work fine), I get an error The E_IPC_SOCKET environment
variable is not set

for edje. i haven't gotten edje to build in a while, it always fails to
find LUA, though I have installed the lua and lua-dev 5 series (I'm on
ubuntu jaunty). The output just claims that it cannot find LUA (not
response. I guess I was just spoiled by make error messages like LUA was
found; but lua 5.10x required.

Yes all the e libs are coming from svn via the easy-e17 script. Everything
else is Ubuntu repositories. It is possible that the upgrade is a red
herring, but I had successfully compiled e17 from svn (easy script again)
less than a week before upgrade and have not been able to recompile it
since.

Please, clean and uninstall all your previous e17 packages, and it should
be ok.
